Patient and Family Education
Lawnwood provides a complete source of information for patients and families. The Resource Center, located on the fifth floor, houses information on specific diseases, medications and treatments in a variety of patient appropriate formats and languages. This information may be accessed by any healthcare provider on behalf of a patient or family member 24 hours a day.

Patients and families may dial extension 4612 directly to request information from the patient and family education coordinator. The closed circuit television system provides programming directly focused on Lawnwood's patients' needs. Channels 26 and 28 provide 24 hour continuous play programming.

Free community lectures are offered by healthcare experts on a variety of topics. Information regarding current programming can be obtained by calling Public Relations at 468-4441.
